Create Rules

Create Rules to give alby guidance on how to respond in specific situations.

1. Go to alby's Admin
2. Select Rules (under Knowledge) in the right-hand panel
3. Select Add Rule
4. New Rule - Rules require 3 parts: 
   1. When a customer says something similar to: describe scenario  
   2. Then do this: 2 options 
      
      1. Reply with a suggested response - word-for-word how ably will respond
      2. Follow this rule when responding - alby will follow general guidance when responding 
   3. Apply to All Products or Specific Products 
5. Save

Example Rules

When a customer says something to: What is your return policy?

Then do this (Reply with a specific response): Our return policy allows you to return any product free of charge for up to 14 days. See Return Policy for more details. 

About: All Products

When a customer says something to: Are mattresses included? 

Then do this (Follow this rule when responding): No, mattresses are not included. Would you like recommendations for compatible mattresses? 

About: Specific Product (bed frames)
